Hack-a-TONx DoraHacks a global hackathon organized by TON Foundation jointly with the DoraHacks The goal is to find and invest in blockchain-based dApps. TONWe're going to be bringing in developers from Web2 and Web3.
The format#
- It 's online . It 's on DoraHacks + . offline session It has been performed in 11 cities: Taipei, Seoul, Bangkok, Prague, Tokyo, Dubai, Tel Aviv, St. Petersburg, London, Hong Kong, and Lisbon.
- 8 weeks . Adaptation period for new entrants: training and mentoring on the TON stack.
- It 's open for individual developers and teams.
Goals#
- Find innovative dApps with real applications and invest through grants;
- Supporting new participants through the onboarding period
- Developing local communities through offline meetings;
- Spreading knowledge about the Telegram ecosystem (950M MAU) among the Web2 / Web3 communities;
- Encouraging open source development on GitHub.
Stages#
- Registration and submission of projects DoraHacks applications with a description of the idea and potential;
- Development and mentoring working on prototypes with experts;
- Final presentation and judging criteria: innovation, technical level, contribution to the ecosystem, commercial applicability;
- Awarded prize funds + grants for further development.

- DID decentralized digital identification on TON;
- NFTs and SBTs social constructs and digital asset management;
- DAO decentralized autonomous organizations;
- Web 2.5 web2 bridges Web3, the metaverse in the Telegram ecosystem.

The end result#
Hack-a-TONx 2023 has become the main event of the year for TON developers. Several projects from the TOP-10 (DeDust, Evaa) have grown into full-fledged products of the ecosystem.
