Rebase — a token-supply mechanism that proportionally changes the balance in every holder's wallet at once: positive rebase mints into all balances, negative burns from them. The holder's share of supply stays the same while the number goes up or down.
Used by algorithmic stablecoins and exotic DeFi tokens. If your balance changed without a transaction — it is a rebase token, read its docs before trading it.
