Pullback — a temporary price move against the prevailing trend: a brief drop inside an uptrend or a bounce inside a downtrend. Traders use pullbacks as entry points in the trend's direction.

The hard part is telling a healthy pullback from an actual trend reversal — usually only obvious in hindsight.
