A maxi (from "maximalist") is a fanatical supporter of one chain (Bitcoin maxi, Ethereum maxi, Solana maxi). They consider all alternatives either scams or obsolete.
Bitcoin maxis are especially famous for their radicalism: anything besides BTC is "shitcoin."
