Hot wallet — a wallet whose private keys are stored on a device connected to the internet: a phone app (Tonkeeper), a browser extension, or a wallet inside Telegram. Perfect for everyday payments and dApp use.

The trade-off: if the device or its software is compromised, so are the funds. Keep day-to-day amounts hot; move long-term savings of Gram to a cold wallet.
