Gem Wallet is an open‑source, non‑custodial mobile wallet that lets users manage crypto assets across 32 blockchains, including TON.
Overview#
The wallet acts as a graphical interface to the blockchain; it never holds users’ private keys or funds. It is available only on iOS and Android devices. Users create a 12‑word seed phrase, which must be stored securely, as it is the sole method for recovering the wallet and its assets.
Creating and Importing wallets#
- When a new wallet is created, a 12‑word seed phrase is displayed for the user to copy and later verify.
- The wallet is immediately usable on all supported blockchains after creation.
- Importing an existing TON wallet is not supported in the current version of Gem Wallet.
- Users can import multi‑chain wallets from other applications by entering the seed phrase.
Integration with TON#
TON support was added in December 2023. The wallet enables buying, sending, and receiving Toncoin and Jettons. Users can manually add a Jetton that does not appear automatically via the “Manage token” tab. TON DNS is supported, allowing transactions to .ton domain addresses. TON Connect is integrated, letting users connect to TON DApps and Telegram applications.

Gem Wallet also integrates the third‑party payment service Mercuryo for purchasing crypto directly in the app.
