MyTonWallet

MyTonWallet is a non‑custodial wallet for The Open Network (TON) that lets users control their private keys while managing Toncoin, Jettons, NFTs and multi‑chain assets.

Overview#

The wallet launched in 2022 and is available as a desktop application (Windows, macOS, Linux), mobile apps for iOS and Android, a web version, and browser extensions. Users retain full ownership of their funds; the developers have no access to private keys, transaction history or any other user data.

Multi‑token support – send and receive Toncoin, Jettons and NFTs.
Multiple accounts – switch between wallets on the same device with a single click.
Integrated DEX aggregator – compares rates across several TON‑based decentralized exchanges and suggests the best price.
Address book, anti‑spam filters and interactive price charts are embedded in the UI.

Development and Evolution#

MyTonWallet has received regular updates:

V6 (July 2023) introduced transaction comments, a refreshed UI, browser extensions, website access and token trading capabilities.
V7 (2025) added atomic cross‑chain swaps for assets such as USDT, BTC, ETH, USDC and LTC, new mobile apps for Android and iOS, additional browser extensions and a Toncoin price‑prediction feature.

The wallet’s roadmap emphasizes multi‑chain functionality through atomic cross‑chain swaps.

Installation Guide#

Desktop (Windows)

Visit mytonwallet.io and click Get for Windows.
Download the installer; you may need to temporarily disable antivirus software.
Run the installer in administrator mode and follow the prompts.
Choose Create wallet, set a strong password, and accept the terms.
Write down the 24‑word seed phrase displayed on screen.
Confirm three random words from the seed phrase to complete setup.

Mobile (iOS / Android)

Open the App Store or Google Play, search for MyTonWallet, and install.
Launch the app and follow the same wallet‑creation steps as above.

Browser Extension

Add the extension from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add‑ons page.
Pin the extension, create or import a wallet, and you can interact with TON dApps directly from the browser.

Security and Audits#
