Lost Dogs is a collection of 2,222 pixel‑art NFTs on the TON blockchain. The project lets owners breed dogs to create new NFTs with inherited traits and engages users through interactive stories and token‑based games.
Overview#
The collection launched in 2024 under an anonymous, pseudonymous team. Each NFT combines traits such as fur color, accessories, and facial expression, with some traits being rarer than others. The visual style follows the pixel‑art aesthetic common to many blockchain collectibles.
Breeding and Mutagen NFTs#
Owners can combine two Lost Dogs NFTs to generate a new one that inherits characteristics from both parents. The Mutagen NFT set can modify the genetic parameters of the offspring, adding further randomness and the possibility of rare trait combinations.
Interactive Storylines#
Lost Dogs: The Way (July 31 2024 – early September 2024)
A 41‑day Telegram‑based story released daily, offering three narrative choices per episode. Participants voted on the plot direction and received the native token $NOT as a reward.
Lost Dogs: Magic Quest (starting November 28 2024)
An animated series featuring the collection’s characters, accompanied by a treasure‑hunt game that awarded $WOOF and additional $NOT tokens.
Tokenomics and Game Mechanics#
- $NOT – first token, distributed to participants of The Way. Holders could swap $NOT for $BONES, a game currency used in prize‑pool rounds.
- $WOOF – linked to Magic Quest. Players mined $WOOF in the treasure‑hunt and could exchange it for $TON via a “random exchange” mini‑app launched on November 14 2024 and active for one week.
