Fragment is a decentralized marketplace built on The Open Network (TON) that enables buying, selling, and auctioning Telegram‑related digital assets. The platform launched in October 2022 and is associated with Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram.
Platform overview#
Fragment organizes its offerings into four main categories:
- Telegram usernames – tokenized as NFTs on TON.
- Anonymous +888 numbers – virtual phone numbers for private Telegram logins.
- Telegram Premium subscriptions – monthly or yearly access that can be purchased for oneself or gifted.
- Telegram Ads – ad slots that can be bought with cryptocurrency and generate revenue for channel owners.
Telegram usernames#
Users can list a Telegram username for auction after authenticating with their Telegram account and a TON‑compatible wallet. Auctions run for seven days once the first bid is placed; otherwise the listing remains open indefinitely.

Anonymous +888 numbers#
Fragment also trades virtual numbers prefixed with +888, which allow Telegram login without revealing a real phone number. Direct sales ended in 2022; the numbers are now only available via auction.

Telegram Premium subscriptions#
Premium subscriptions can be bought for personal use, gifted to other users, or distributed as channel giveaways. Payments are accepted in Toncoin and conventional methods.
Telegram Ads#
Fragment integrates with Telegram’s advertising system, allowing advertisers to purchase ad slots and view traffic analytics. Revenue sharing is split 50 % to the channel owner.

The platform’s link to Telegram’s founders, Pavel and Nikolai Durov, brings significant attention and leverages Telegram’s large user base. Integration with TON provides on‑chain ownership proof for all assets listed on Fragment.
