Alexey Solovyov leads TON Society CIS, the regional hub supporting TON adoption across the CIS region. An IT strategist, entrepreneur, and investor, he also maintains a dedicated yoga practice and founded the YOGA WAY instruction club.
Education and Career#
Solovyov completed secondary education at School No. 33 in Rostov-on-Don between 1984 and 1994, with an emphasis on mathematics. In 2003, he earned a degree from the Faculty of Mathematics, Mechanics, and Computer Science, specializing in elasticity theory and mathematical modeling during full-time study.
In 2013, he returned to the same institution for a part-time program at the Institute of History and International Relations, focusing on foreign history and international relations. He balanced this education with hands-on work in technology startups and early blockchain projects.
Contribution to TON#
As hub leader of TON Society CIS, Solovyov coordinates TON ecosystem initiatives in the CIS region. His activities include strategic advisory for blockchain startups, project management, and cross-sector integration of TON solutions.
He and his team host regular meetups that bring together developers, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts to explore the TON ecosystem, share implementation experience, and prototype new products.
Yoga and Spiritual Practice#
Parallel to his technology career, Solovyov is an initiated teacher in the Hindu yoga tradition and a practitioner of Tantra and Kriya Yoga. He established YOGA WAY, a club offering structured yoga instruction.
